Zipadee-Zip {Giveaway} 0

My little guy loved his swaddle. We used it for him every night and it really helped him sleep… until a month ago.  Suddenly our little guy started to wake up constantly throughout the night. He struggled when we put on his swaddle and tried to break free. After one really tough night of him waking up at least 3 times, I knew something needed to be done: our little guy was ready to transition out of the swaddle. The next night we put him in a sleep sack and it was disasterous. He woke up every 2 hours. Poor little guy scratched up his face and just couldn’t handle not being swaddled.

That day I went on a search to find a product that helped bridge the gap between the swaddle and the sleep sack.  I found the Zipadee-Zip. I washed it and put him in it the very night I received it!  Little guy really seemed to like the Zipadee-Zip as soon as he was zipped up in it. He looked so stinkin’ cute too! That night he only woke up once and since then he has transitioned into sleeping 11 hours at night!

Zipadee-Zip Giveaway- The Solution to the Swaddle Transition! Happy sleep makes a happy baby. From the womb, to the swaddling blanket to the Zipadee-Zip®. Your baby will NEVER sleep better!

I love the material that his Zipadee-Zip is made from. It is so lightweight which is great for my little guy because he is such a hot sleeper and gets heat rash very easily. He is so comfortable in his Zippy and wakes up happy. His adorable little face is scratch free since his hands are covered. The best thing is that he puts himself to sleep every night. No more rocking for this momma ;)

The Zipadee-Zip is lightweight and breathable... Can you spot the cute diaper cover showing through?

The only thing that is a bit hard for us is that little guy is a thumb sucker.  He loves to suck on the hands of the Zipadee-Zip, but what he really wants is his thumb, so I slightly modified the right hand cover to give him thumb access.

Overall I really love the Zipadee-Zip and would highly recommend it to help ease the transition from the swaddle or just as a cute pair of pjs!

Why is the Zipadee-Zip a Pin-worthy Product?

  • Great for swaddle transitioning
  • Cozy and secure, but still gives full range of motion for babies who roll over (my little guy likes to roll and sleep on his tummy sometimes)
  • Baby’s hands are covered, preventing them from scratching their face
  • Helps baby to self soothe
  • Lightweight and breathable material
  • A cinch to use… just zip up!

I absolutely LOVE these! My daughter has grown out of hers and she really needs a new one! I’m a regular poster on BabyCenter and I constantly turn moms on to the zipadeezip because they’ve been SO helpful in getting my baby to sleep through the night. Her hands would get cold, now they don’t. She’s able to self sooth, and also have the safety of not having a blanket in the crib. It’s just a really great product. (I love the new design as well! The little hoot design is too cute!)

Can you please share how you modified it for a thumb sucker???

    • pinntell

I cut a little hole for his thumb. Lol! I did talk to Zipadee Zip and they said that most thumb suckers would start to just suck on the fabric and be happy.
