As you all know, I am pregnant. I also have a 3 year old at home. I am always on the lookout for new products that I can use for the kiddos (and even myself) to make life easier. Recently, Susan Brown’s Baby sent me their Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer to try out as well as their Nourishing Lotion and Lotion-to-Powder, all from their line of natural skin care products for moms & babies. I have to say, I have been very happy with all of them!
Unlike any other hand sanitizers, the Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer contains Vitamin E and Jojoba beads that left my hands feeling smooth. The hand sanitizer does have an initial alcohol smell, but it fades away fast and does not leave any sticky residue on your hands. My son loved the little blue beads and has not once fought using the Hand Sanitizer (can’t say the same about actually getting him to wash his hands sometimes!)
The Nourishing Lotion is nice and light and has a fresh scent that is not overpowering. I am one that does not like baby powder smells or heavily scented lotions so this is perfect for me and for kiddo. For a few brief moments after his bath and the Nourishing Lotion, kiddo smelled clean and fresh and had baby soft skin… that is, until he decided to run around like crazy and get all dirty again… he is a boy, after all :)
I also love the Lotion-to-Powder. We use cloth diapers so diaper rash creme is a big no-no. I used baby powder with my son when he was little, but as I mentioned before, I am not a fan of that baby powder smell. Loose powder also does not travel well in a diaper bag and we had many times that it just got all over the place. I love the lotion to powder. The scent is light and fresh just like all of the other Susan Brown’s Baby products and it is so light on the skin. I would have to say it is my favorite and is definitely going to be used for baby-to-be!
Be sure to check out Susan Brown’s Baby and let me know what products you would love for yourself or your little one!
