Can you believe that Valentine’s Day is a month away?

In high school my friends and I “protested” Valentine’s Day by dressing in all black. The guys in our class protested our protest by dressing in pink. We all thought we were so smart and funny. Ahhh.. youth.

Anyway, now that I am married you won’t find me in all black on February 14th, but it is still one of those holidays that I have never really gotten into. Then along came the kiddos. Despite my lack of love for pink and frilly, I want to make this Valentine’s Day special for my boys. So I am breaking out the conversation hearts and making glittery construction paper cards. And you know what, I am finding a new love for Valentines Day :)

How about you? Do you love or hate Valentines Day? Doing anything special?
