I love all of the pins out there showing the cute things you can do with a bulky guy’s shirt. The problem is, I don’t have a sewing machine. Even if I did, I couldn’t tell you the first thing about how to use it.
After pinning a tutorial on how to turn a t-shirt into a tank, I decided I had to try. Immediately.

I took out my scissors (not fancy fabric shears, but just plain ol’ paper cutting scissors) and started cutting up my shirt. Now that I had successfully followed Step 1 of the tutorial, I decided to just skip the remain steps and jump to the end. Armed with an iron and some no-sew tape I found in my old sewing kit, I quickly finished up my brand new tank.
I must say that it actually didn’t look completely terrible at first, but after wearing it once it now looks like this…
I guess I should get a sewing machine before I attempt any more Pinterest sewing projects from now on.
