Mmmm… I love the smell of my Lemongrass Spearmint Organic Soap from Escape Naturally.
Escape Naturally describes the bar perfectly- “This bar has a fresh, clean scent of lemon with a splash of spearmint. Calendula petals add to the color and are known to be antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and immune stimulating.” I think it smells like a spa… not perfumey, just fresh and sweet. I love using it and feel relaxed every time I smell it.
I chose the Lemongrass Spearmint Organic Soap because of the Calendula petals. My baby has very sensitive skin and has had baby acne and eczema on his face since he was born. A bunch of moms recommended Calendula cream and I started to research the benefits. It is beneficial in reducing inflammation and promoting healing for a variety of skin problems. I really wanted to try it on my skin and see how it worked and I have been very impressed. Not only do I love the smell, I also feel like the soap gets my skin super clean and I have noticed fewer breakouts.
In case you were wondering, I asked if I could use this on the baby’s skin. Tamara said, “Yes, absolutely can be used on kids – but, since they don’t the chemicals that make shampoos and baby soaps “tear-free”, they are NOT tear-free. Definitely need to keep out of eyes.” She recommended the Unscented / Sensitive Skin soap that I really want to try for the kiddos!
All of their soaps are made with only Certified Organic oils and pure plant ingredients. No fake colors or fragrances.
As a busy mom, there are days that are just crazy. So, even if I only just get to wash my face, I can just breathe in and pretend that I am escaping to a luxury spa on a cruise ship to some exotic location. They are a perfect way to take care of yourself and feel rejuvenated, refreshed and pampered… without having to leave the house.
With Mother’s Day coming up, these Organic Soaps would make the perfect gift. Mom, if you are reading this, pretend to be surprised ;)
By the way, the Lemongrass Spearmint is ON SALE this week for only $3.00! Order before I buy them out ;)
