One of the first projects I ever fell in love with on Pinterest was Design Sponge’s Vintage Postcard Calendar Journal. I knew they would make fantastic gifts for friends and family, especially the ones who either had kids on the way or little ones running around.
This calendar is a cute, unique way to make a record of your life. Each day of the year has its own card; each month has a divider for organizational purposes. Everyday, write the year & a line describing something that happened that day. It can be something significant (“Our baby’s first steps”) or something a little less impressive (“Finished reading ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’ today”). Year after year you’ll have fun seeing what happened on that day in your past.
I made some changes to suit my own personal style and love how it turned out.
See how I made it on my blog By the Porchlight.
